The tensioner is mainly composed of a fixed casing, a tensioning arm, a wheel body, a torsion spring, a rolling bearing and a spring bushing.
The tensioner is a wearing part of spare parts such as automobiles. The belt is easy to wear after a long time. The belt groove will be stretched after being worn deep and narrow. The tensioner can be adjusted by the hydraulic unit or damping spring according to the wear of the belt. The level is automatically adjusted, and the tensioner belt runs more smoothly, with less noise, and can prevent slipping.
The tensioner is a routine maintenance item. Generally, it needs to be replaced at 60,000 to 80,000 kilometers. Usually, if there is an abnormal whistling sound at the front end of the engine or the position of the tensioning force mark of the tensioner is too far from the center, it means that the tension is insufficient. . At 60,000-80,000 kilometers (or when abnormal noise occurs in the front-end accessory system), it is recommended to uniformly replace the belt, tensioner, idler, and generator single wheel.
The function of the tensioner is to adjust the tightness of the belt, reduce the vibration of the belt when it is running, prevent the belt from slipping to a certain extent, and ensure the normal and stable operation of the transmission system. Generally, it is replaced with the cooperative accessories such as the belt and idler to avoid worries. .

In order to maintain proper belt tension, avoid belt slippage, compensate for belt wear and elongation caused by aging, the tensioner needs a certain torque during actual use. When the belt tensioner is running, the moving belt can cause vibrations in the tensioner, causing premature wear of the belt and tensioner. To this end, add a resistance mechanism to the tensioner. However, because there are many parameters affecting the torque and resistance of the tensioner, and the influence of each parameter is not the same, the relationship between the various components of the tensioner and the torque and resistance is very complicated. The change of torque directly affects the change of resistance, and it is the main influencing factor of resistance. The main factor affecting torque is the parameter of torsion spring. Appropriately reducing the pitch diameter of the torsion spring can increase the resistance value of the tensioner.
